Course Requirements
To remain in good standing with the Emerging Leaders scholarship, you must enroll in the Emerging Leaders UGEP 100 seminar in the Fall semester. This weekly 0-credit course gives you opportunities to explore their purpose for pursuing higher education, create a strong support network, and connect with faculty, staff, and students who serve in leadership roles on campus and in the community.
4-day Foundational Event
In addition to the course requirements, all Emerging Leaders participate in a 4-day Foundational Event August 13-17, 2023. If you're living on-campus, you'll get priority move-in on Sunday, August 13. If you're living off-campus, you'll join us on campus for four days of activities and events August 13-17, 2023. This is your opportunity to meet your Emerging Leaders Peer Mentors, connect with your Academic Success Coach, and tap into the resources you need to kickoff your college experience!
