Originally from Lenexa, Kansas, Abby's start in higher education began at Kansas State University where she studied Anthropology and International Business. While there, she was involved in leadership education, university admissions, study abroad, and undergraduate research. Her passion is in helping students identify their 'why' and making the most of the college experience - and that's how she found this career path! 

She has spent time learning and living in Salt Lake City, Utah and Lafayette, Indiana. However, Abby is excited to start this next chapter at UNL, where most of her family went to school. 

Outside of the office, Abby is a proud parent to a dog and cat (pictures available at request). She loves a good road trip, reading, and playing Stardew Valley.
