Why I Mentor Statement
I mentor because I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and understood. I want to be the kind of mentor who is honest and impactful, so that my students feel like the work we do together comes from a genuine place. My experiences have taught me that sometimes all it takes to survive is to be believed.
