What is one thing you were really glad you brought when you went to college?
No even joking: a toaster. Saved my life my freshman year when I was terrible at time management and couldn’t get to breakfast before class.

What is one thing you wish people knew about you?
I can do a killer English accent.

Sasquatch—real or fake?
Fake, and I’m okay with that: There’s so much wonder in the natural world around us already, how much we still don’t know, that I’d rather put my energy toward trying to understand the birds and squirrels and trees I see every day.

What is your most vivid memory from college?
Orientation, the shock of going from a relatively small suburb to a school of 50,000+ students and realizing, for the first time, how big and beautiful and wonderful the world is.
