Of all the jobs you could have on campus, what made you want to be a Peer Mentor?

The kindness of my peer mentors when I joined CAST Power is the main reason for my interest in the program. I also find the program very beneficial for new and incoming students to get used to campus.

If you could learn any skill or craft instantly, what would it be?

I would want to instantly know how to learn/study in the most efficient way possible.

What's one thing on your bucket list you know you'll cross off some day?

I would love to go skydiving some day.

What's your favorite way to de-stress or relax during busy times?

Playing video games or guitar are my go to ways to relax.

If your life had a soundtrack, what is your theme song?

My theme song would be Funky Duck by Vulfpeck just because it's such a random song.

You just won an all-expenses paid vacation. Where would you go?

I would go to Bora Bora because of how beautiful it is.

What's your favorite place on campus‚ and why?

Kewit Hall is my go to spot for studying, being alone, or just taking with friends.

What's your go-to comfort food or guilty pleasure snack?

Peanut butter dark chocolate cups from Trader Joes are my all time favorite.

What's one thing you wish you had known before starting college?

How to properly study would've been a game changer for the start of my time at college.

Why I Mentor Statement

I mentor because I believe every student should be given the best chance to be successful. I want to be the kind of mentor who makes students feel seen and heard, so that students can have someone in their corner at all times. My experiences with both large groups and one-on-one interactions have taught me how to make connections with those around me in all settings, and I hope to use that to support students as they navigate their years in college and in life.
