Of all the jobs you could have on campus, what made you want to be a CAST Peer Mentor?

Being a CAST Peer Mentor lets me directly influence campus culture for the positive. Everyone on campus would benefit from freshmen who are prepared, informed, and making good choices.

If you could learn any skill or craft instantly, what would it be?

I would want to have the ability to do gymnastics instantly. The flexibility needed to do tricks would be excellent. In addition, who doesn't want to be able to do a backflip?

What’s one thing on your bucket list you know you’ll cross off some day?

One day, I hope to finish writing a book. I want to have a little nonfiction piece of writing to be in many libraries.

What's your favorite way to de-stress or relax during busy times?

My favorite way to de-stress is by shopping or booking spontaneous tattoo appointments.

If your life had a soundtrack, what is your theme song?

"Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston would be my theme song. This year is all about self-appreciation and positivity.

You just won an all-expenses paid vacation. Where would you go?

I would love to go to Switzerland! I must see the Alps in my lifetime.

What’s your favorite place on campus—and why?

My favorite place on campus is the DIGS in the College of Business. My friends in the College of Business always love congregating here to talk and work on homework.

What's your go-to comfort food or guilty pleasure snack?

Any assortment of a charcuterie board is absolutely amazing. You can not go wrong with crackers, cheese, deli meat, and a sweet treat.

What's one thing you wish you had known before starting college?

There is no such thing as bringing too much stuff from home. You will use every little gadget and tool, making everything feel like home.

Why I Mentor Statement

I mentor because I believe students should understand how limitless their potential is so that students maximize their chances. My experiences as have taught me how to be completely self driven, and I hope to use that to support students as they not only navigate college but as they trailblaze a new future for themselves.
