Why I Mentor Statement

I mentor because I believe that there is a place at UNL for everyone. I want to be the kind of mentor who believes in their students, so that students can feel like I believe in them and have their back. My experiences with being undisciplined and lazy have taught me how to use my time more effectively, and I hope to use that to support students as they navigate through their first semester in college!
