Why I Mentor Statement

I mentor because I believe in supporting others' success through difficult transitions. I want to be the kind of mentor that mentees feel they can always turn to, no matter the circumstance so that students feel they always have an advocate on their side. My experience as a first-generation student has taught me how to be resilient, and I hope to help new incoming students navigate the challenges of college and young adult life.
