Why I Mentor Statement
I mentor because I believe that everyone should have a chance to succeed and absorb the most out of their time here. I want to be the kind of mentor who can give back to what this program gave me and support where I can. I know what it’s like start over from scratch with no one and no idea. It has taught me how to be adaptable, resourceful, and outgoing and I hope to use that to support students as they navigate and write their own intricate tapestry of life.
