In order to receive the full benefits of the First Husker Program — moving to campus early, making connections with faculty and staff, developing academic skills and success strategies — students must complete all program requirements.
Program Requirements
- Participate in the August foundational event (August 18-22, 2024)
- Attend and participate in seminar course UGEP 120 taught by CAST staff and Peer Mentors
- Attend 1-1 meetings during the fall semester with an Academic Success Coach and Peer Mentor
*Students who do not participate in the entire program after arriving on campus will be responsible for all early move-in fees and meals.
