Mari Beck joins us after 10 years as an entrepreneur, keynote speaker and published author. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Kansas State University.

Prior to joining CAST, Mari spent 16+ years serving and teaching both graduate and undergraduate students as an Assistant Director of Admissions, an instructor and Spanish Proficiency Assessment Coordinator at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and as an instructor and Director of the Undergraduate Translation Certificate Program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. During her tenure at both schools Mari discovered her passion for helping guide students by encouraging them to develop and grow into their best selves.

During her spare time Mari is an author and self-care advocate with a lifelong passion for reading, good skincare, vinyl records and is on a mission to inspire and encourage others. A lover of the common houseplant, mother of two extraordinary young men and wife to one very patient and supportive husband, Mari is a fan of all things glittery and a devoted companion to Eevee the Colorado rescue dog.
