What is one thing you wish someone had told you before your first semester at Nebraska?

I wish someone would've told me it wouldn't be as scary as I thought it was going to be. There's hurdles and challenges, but it's all things I'm ready to tackle.

What is your go-to way to reset during a stressful week?

Having a hobby that still makes me feel productive. I do a lot of modified to clothes, so getting to do that gets me off my phone and doing a repetitive task. I don't like feeling "unproductive", so this is a good middle ground.

What is one small habit that helps you stay on track?

My calendar. It is color coordinated with every single thing I'm doing in my week :)

Where is your favorite place on campus to spend time and why?

My dorm! I'm such good friends with my roommates and I have a cat (Lilo) to chill with. Watching movies, playing games on the Wii, or just talking, they help me recenter and regain that second wind. (and it's nice to vent about classes and professors)

What is one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I'm a super outgoing person NOW, but I used to be incredibly shy and hated talking to ANYONE new. CAST (and college) helped me get out of my shell and embrace the next four years!
