What is one thing you wish someone had told you before your first semester at Nebraska?

That it is okay to fail and it will never define you. You are more than a letter grade, you are you, and sometimes under the pressure of school, life, and yourself we forget that we are human, we mess up. If I had that knowledge, then I would have been able to embrace failure and learn from it.

What is your go-to way to reset during a stressful week?

This past year I picked up a hobby, scrapbooking and junk journaling. It gives me a creative outlet that I don't usual have especially when it comes to my majors.

What is one small habit that helps you stay on track?

One small habit that keeps me on track is an app called Finch, it helps me complete daily tasks or goals in order to help your finch travel through life and learn things too! It helps me hold myself accountable and gives me an incentive to do my tasks!

Where is your favorite place on campus to spend time and why?

Love library south, I have many memories of cramming for exams, getting lost looking for books, and getting kicked out of the library because I was there till closing a few too many times. I had many laughs and cries in that place I am going to miss it the most after I graduated.

What is one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I am not intimidating as I look or act. Overall, I can be an intense and passionate person, yet it comes off as intimidating at times. I don't mean to come off as this, but I care a lot about many topics and issues.
