Of all the jobs you could have on campus, what made you want to be a Peer Mentor?
I chose to be a peer mentor because of the amazing community I found through OASIS. They truly made me feel included and that I belonged at UNL. I really loved the program and wanted to help the incoming students find that sense of community as well
If you could learn any skill or craft instantly, what would it be?
I would like to become Polylingual. I can already speak English and Spanish, but I think it would be really cool to just be able to drop many different languages at a moment's notice
What’s one thing on your bucket list you know you’ll cross off some day?
Traveling the world. I love trying foods from different countries and getting to experience what it's like to live in different places. I have already been to Mexico, France, Italy, and I am currently looking to travel over the summer I graduate
What's your favorite way to de-stress or relax during busy times?
Hanging out with friends is the best way for me to just recuperate. I am a huge extrovert and find that I can just forget all of my worries when I am just having a good time with friends no matter what we are doing

Full tour of Europe. Europe is kinda expensive to travel so if it is all-expenses paid than that an easy choice. There is so much diversity across Europe and you are able to see so much so close together. Plus, the pasta in Italy is amazing
What’s your favorite place on campus—and why?
The Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. The staff there is always really nice to talk to and can be a great place to study when I don't want to sit in a study room alone. Plus, they hold really cool events often times with free food as well.
What's your go-to comfort food or guilty pleasure snack?
My go-to comfort food would have to be Caldo de Pollo. My mom would make it a lot as a kid and it is so good when you are feeling sick. Rice, Broccoli, Zucchini, Carrots, Potato, and Chicken with a tomato sauce to add a ton of flavor.
What's one thing you wish you had known before starting college?
The importance of taking time for yourself to recuperate. Even when you are swamped with assignments and feel like you don't have time for anything else, It is important to do something that you enjoy even for a little while. Keeps you from getting burnt out and helps you enjoy life
