Tips of the Week, August 2015

Week of August 26

  • Are you experiencing campus culture shock? Wondering how you will fit in on campus? Talk with your RA, a good friend, or someone at CAPS.
  • Feeling stressed after getting all your syllabi and seeing the amount of work there is to do. This is a common feeling. Remember you have all semester to accomplish this work. If it is too overwhelming, schedule a time with an Academic Success Coach at First-Year Experience and Transition Programs to develop a game plan for the semester.
  • Living with someone new can be a challenge, but completing your roommate contract is a great way to have a respectful relationship.
  • Last day to add/drop a course is August 31st (to receive 100% refund). Contact your adviser to discuss your options.
